This session will explore Rodney Allen Trice's Walk a Mile project (using 360-degree video to encourage empathy in the user) and the journey of how this project transpired. We will discuss our progress and key lessons learned, including the realization that empathy is not so simple. Additionally, Rodney will discuss his personal journey that sparked this OIC idea and how faculty can leverage their own interests and passions to overcome any anxiety surrounding using new technology in the classroom.
